Sustainability

The CabinMan thinks globally and acts locally.  The Slow Food Movement is – ironically – one of the fastest growing trends in America.  Whether it is an attempt to combat the obesity epidemic linked to industrial farming, re-connect with our core selves, or find a balance in our lives, sustainability comes in many forms.

Bicycling and mass transit is a form of sustainability.  While cycling is my preferred method of travel for short distances (less than 10 miles), light rail and train travel are also returning to the forefront on the national level.  Whether you seek sustainability on the personal , local, or global level, the key is to realize that we all have the power to do our part – no matter how small.

So plant a seed and watch it grow.  It begins with you, CabinMan.
